Five years ago Japanese Hitomi Kuwada visited Finnish Lapland to fulfill her childhood dream, seeing the northern lights. During the trip she fell deeply in love with the serenity and pure nature of the north. Hitomi went back to Tokyo, packed her bags, and moved to Ivalo, a town of 3000 people in northern Finland.

Loving Nothing is a essayistic piece about longing and chasing one’s dreams through the story of Hitomi Kuwada.
